oh how Pinteresting - all that glitters edition

As always(ish) i am linking up with the wonderful Michelle from The Vintage Apple for her Oh How Pinteresting Link up

google

Now that the Holiday Season is upon us i have a sudden urge to make everything glittery so today's link up is dedicated to all that glitters (and needs to be in my life)

Infinity scarf + sequins = perfect for a casual night out with friends celebrating the holiday season without going too far over the top! simple and subtle can be sparkly too!

I recently got a similar one to this and have been wearing it over a neutral pink with looks super pretty and all the little girls at my work are waaay jealous ;) so mission accomplished!

only one word is truely needed for these! DIVINE! and if i could i would wear them everyday even to work. then the little girls would worship me i am sure!

Super cute! i really need to find one of these to go with my little black dress for our works julebord!

are you ladies in that glittery festive mood yet??

Apartment Renovations and a trip to Ikea

TP and I are currently working on renovating our new apartment, in the hope that we will be able to move in sometime in October, which is super exciting and has got me going pintrest crazy for some inspiration.
So yesterday i managed to drag myself and him out of bed before noon in an effort to go and grab some things i needed from Ikea and also get some ideas of what we wanted in the new place. The trip went really well, which was surprising because we definitely have different design tastes he prefers dark colours, reds and blues and i prefer light airy creams with touches of bright sunny colours. But that being said he definitely has given me a lot of creative control over the interior so despite one little wobble (READ: mini breakdown) over the kitchen stuff, we had a great time. I thought i would show you a couple of the pieces we have decided will grace our new teeny apartment.

First off is this baby! as soon as we saw it we both instantly agreed it would be perfect for our apartment as it's so compact but opens out to a decent size, which means we can have friends over for dinner, we would also get some cute folding chairs that could be put away when we aren't using the table.

PAX

This is going to be one of two wardrobes we have and behind one of the doors we are going to put the computer, because we have such little space in our room we thought it would be a cool idea and a great way to be able to shut the computer away when we need a break from the hustle and bustle of the internets!

FJELLSE

we have decided on a nice simple 'starter' bed, because it's cheap for one and we again not much space means fancy beds with lots of storage underneath would be lost on us.

KARLSTAD

You may have noticed the trend of very neutral colours in the items we have chosen, this is not because we are boring people and want to live in a beige house but rather i have decided it would be best to have lots of neutral base colours and then brighten them up with accessories which can be easily changed depending on mood, it means that at Christmas time i can go my usual red crazy with warming blankets and big soft pillows and then in spring time i can change the heavy blankets with light ones of spring greens and sky blues.

we have also thought about getting some of my photography blow up and framed or put onto a canvas to adorn our walls.

I am also hoping to use the renovation as an excuse to get super crafty yay!

I find out if i have gotten the job tomorrow so cross your fingers for me.

I need YOUR opinions

Usually my Monday's suck, i hate waking up and realising it's the start of the week and i have nothing to do! seriously i know most people complain about work or school starting again after the weekend but i would personally love it (for a short time at least) having no job sucks...

But yesterday was different, when i woke up (earlyish) i discovered that i can take a re sit of a very important exam which will decide the fate of my degree..YAY! so the day was off to a good start, then i finished some bits and bobs crafty projects etc...and then i got another email...one that literally got me so excited that i ended up feeling quite sick woops :p I had been invited for a job interview at the International School of Bergen for the position of kindergarden assistant. I was so pleased not only was this the first possibility of a job i have had in a looong while but also it was at a place i have wanted to work at since i moved here!!!

The interview is tomorrow so in anticipation, I spent today down at Lagunen Storesenter, which is basically a HUGE mall with tons of shops...looking for interview clothes. I came back with a good selection and didn't spend toooo much money (thank you sales!) So now i have narrowed it down to two choices of what to wear tomorrow and this is where i neeed YOUR advice. which one do you think is best for a casual interview?

Also please excuse my face (i have been shopping all day and was too tired/lazy to do anything about it) and the camera quality (bf is still getting used to my crappy camera and how to take flatering photos lol )

Outfit 1.

Top - Cubus, Trousers-Lindex, heels -H&M
Outfit 2.
Top H&M  Trousers and Shoes - as before

argh i am crazy embarassed to show you guys this photo! i did take others after i had picked up the clothes that had fallen down but they all looked even worse than this one! but basically you get the gist of the outfit! also what on earth is my hair doing!? i have this annoying wispy bits which just refuse to stay down!

as you can see the trousers and shoes are basically already decided on. I don't own many pairs of trousers that aren't  jeggings and so these are the smartest pair i have, plus i have been wanting a pair in this colour for agges but had yet to find any that fit. may have done a little skip on enjoyment when i tried these on!

I also managed to score some adorable nail polishes from H&M four for 40kr!

How cute!? i was thinking maybe the coral or yellow for the interview tomorrow or should i leave my nails bare?

I also thought i would add a nice bit of jewelry maybe some drop earrings or a long pendant necklace.
